Testing out Natural – Organic – Ecological – skincare and makeup
As I probably mention earlier I have decided to go green with skin care and makeup ; ) To give my sensitive reactive and allergy/eczema prone skin type a healthier alternative without chemicals and other harmful ingredients.
Not that easy to find a brand that suits the skin though. So I thought I would try out a few brands by ordering/buying test samples. Even if the product are 100% natural with herbs and essential oil some might be a bit irritating on the skin because of some essentials oils.
That’s the problem with sensitive/reactive and allergy prone skin. Often the fragrance-free products without essential oils and no scent are the best for very sensitive skin.
The brands I am testing out right now is Skin Care from Green People Organics & Logona.
Gentle Cleanse and Day Solution from Green People
Both the Gentle Cleanse and Day Solution has a very strong scent. It is kind of nice to the skin but not 100% for my skin type.
Green People have a No Scent line of products as well, and that would probably suit my skin better but I have not been able to get those No Scent products here I Sweden.
Free Moisture Cream from Logona.
fragrance-free, free of essiental oils, no scent. Very gentle to the skin. Not exactly what I am looking for but still very mild and gives the skin a comfortable feeling.
Found some products from Dr Hauschka with 50% off = )which was a great opportunity to test them out at a lower price.

The sunscreen I haven’t had the chance to test out yet due to the lack of the sun ; ) But I have tested on my arms and it felt rather good and not irritating at all. So I am now waiting for the sun to show up again : ) It has a smell of roses but not too strong which is good : )
The effect of the cover stick was amazing. The healing process was super fast almost like magic = )
When it comes to Make up I have just got the Volume Mascara from Dr Hauschka. I have used it a couple of times and really like it. It keeps the eyelashes soft all day.
Also got the Test/Travel Kit Daily Face Care Kit – For normal, dry or sensitive skin.
The kit includes travel sizes of Cleansing Cream, Cleansing Milk, Facial Toner, Moisturizing Day Cream, Rose Day Cream and Quince Day Cream. I bought a travel size Rose Day Cream Light to test out too, as it was not among the ones in the Travel Kit Set.
Tomorrow I will start to test out the complete facial care products from Dr Hauschka Skin Care = )
There is also one more brand that I would like to test as well – that is Lavera– Organic Skin Care and Make Up.
